Description
Anti-ARL13B (ARL2L1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent tissues.
ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 13B (ARL13B), also known as ADP- ribosylation factor-like protein 2-like 1 (ARL2L1), is encoded by the ARL13B gene in human. ARL13B is a small GTPase that contains both N-terminal and C-terminal guanine nucleotide-binding motifs.
ARL13B is localized in the cilia and plays a role in cilia formation and in maintenance of cilia. Mutations in ARL13B are the cause of Joubert syndrome 8 (OMIM 612291).
This antibody is raised in rat and can be used as a primary cilium marker in co-localization studies. This antibody is recommended for staining the primary cilia in rodent tissues. For human tissue, please choose 90413h.
