Description
Anti-Claudin-1 (CLDN1) antibody is validated on mouse tissue and can be used for immunofluorescence labeling, IHC, or western blot of materials from rodent and human tissues. Claudin-1 is a protein that is encoded by the CLDN1 gene in human. Claudin-1 belongs to the Claudin protein superfamily. Claudins are tetraspan proteins making the tight junction. Claudins have four transmembrane domains, two extracellular loops (ECLs: ECL1 and ECL2), amino- and carboxyl-terminal cytoplasmic domains, and a short cytoplasmic motif. Claudin-1 is primarily expressed by the epithelium of the skin, the liver, the intestine, the kidney, and the choroid plexus.
