2 × Rapid Taq Plus Master Mix (Dye Plus)

Overview

2 × Rapid Taq Plus Master Mix (Dye Plus) is a ready-to-use 2× PCR master mix designed for fast DNA amplification with very short extension times. It supports rapid PCR protocols with an extension rate of 1–10 sec/kb, helping to significantly reduce total PCR run time while maintaining high amplification success and specificity.

The mix contains Rapid Taq Plus DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, Mg²⁺, optimized reaction buffer, stabilizers and tracking dyes. For PCR setup, only primers, template DNA and nuclease-free water need to be added.

Rapid Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is a new-generation Taq DNA polymerase system using high-blocking-rate dual-species antibodies and an optimized buffer system. This combination supports rapid amplification, high specificity and robust performance across common research PCR workflows.

Applications

2 × Rapid Taq Plus Master Mix (Dye Plus) is suitable for rapid PCR amplification in research workflows, including routine PCR, colony or screening PCR, cloning preparation and high-throughput amplification tasks.

The product is recommended when PCR setup and cycling time need to be minimized without compromising amplification performance. It can be used with genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, λDNA, cDNA and compatible crude sample inputs.

Product format

The product is supplied as a 2× master mix. For a standard 50 µl PCR reaction, use 25 µl of 2 × Rapid Taq Plus Master Mix (Dye Plus) and add primers, template DNA and nuclease-free water to the final reaction volume.

Template compatibility

Recommended template input for a 50 µl reaction:

• Genomic DNA: 10–200 ng
• Plasmid or virus DNA: 50 pg–50 ng
• cDNA or crude samples: 1–5 µl, not exceeding 1/10 of the total PCR volume

Notes

For best results, optimize annealing temperature according to primer Tm and target sequence. Increasing annealing temperature can improve amplification specificity. For long fragments of 5 kb or above, primers of 25–35 nt with a Tm above 62°C are recommended.
