The Complete IHC Kit for FFPE Section is designed for immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. It provides a ready-to-use workflow for antigen retrieval, blocking, washing, immunolabeling and detection, helping laboratories perform consistent staining on preserved tissue samples.
Formalin fixation preserves tissue morphology but can mask antigen sites through protein crosslinking. This kit supports the antigen retrieval process required to restore antigen accessibility before immunostaining, making it suitable for FFPE-based tissue morphology and histopathology workflows.
The kit includes internal control antibodies against E-cadherin and ZO-1, enabling users to evaluate staining performance with established tissue markers. Depending on the selected variant, detection can be performed using either fluorescent labeling or enzyme-substrate-based chromogenic staining.
Key Benefits
- Complete workflow solution for IHC staining of FFPE tissue sections
- Supports antigen retrieval, blocking, washing, detection and mounting steps
- Includes internal control antibodies for E-cadherin and ZO-1
- Available with fluorescence or enzyme-substrate detection options
- Suitable for histology, pathology and tissue morphology research workflows
Typical Use
This kit is suitable for laboratories working with FFPE tissue sections that require a complete immunohistochemistry staining workflow. It is especially useful for evaluating tissue architecture, epithelial structures, cell junction markers and general tissue immunolabeling performance.
