The Discover-sc WTA Kit V2 from Vazyme is designed for whole transcriptome amplification from single cells and other low-input RNA samples. The kit enables first-strand cDNA synthesis and amplification from very small starting amounts, helping researchers generate sufficient cDNA for downstream sequencing and transcriptome analysis workflows.
Product overview
Discover-sc WTA Kit V2 uses Oligo dT priming for reverse transcription and the template-switching activity of Discover-sc Reverse Transcriptase to add an adapter sequence during cDNA synthesis. The resulting cDNA is then amplified by PCR to generate full-length cDNA amplification products. This workflow helps reduce 3' bias and rRNA contamination while supporting full transcriptome coverage.
