SSTC3 is an activator of CK2 used in studies of Wnt Signaling. In practice, this places the compound in experiments that measure beta-catenin-dependent transcription and developmental signaling in cancer, cell signaling, and developmental biology models.
By activating CK2, SSTC3 can be used to examine beta-catenin-dependent transcription and developmental signaling. The kinase annotation adds relevance to biochemical kinase assays, phospho-signaling studies, and selectivity profiling, together with downstream-response mapping in the same experimental setting. In cancer, cell signaling, and developmental biology models, these readouts can be combined with viability, reporter, localization, biochemical conversion, or morphology endpoints to refine experimental interpretation.
Research Applications
- Target-focused assays involving CK2
- Pathway perturbation studies connected to Wnt Signaling
- Gain-of-function pathway-activation studies
- Biochemical kinase assays, phospho-signaling studies, and selectivity profiling
Overall, SSTC3 is appropriate when a defined chemical perturbant is needed to connect CK2 with measurable biochemical, transcriptional, electrophysiological, imaging, or phenotypic readouts in cancer, cell signaling, and developmental biology models. This profile is suited to mechanistic follow-up, comparative profiling, and assay optimization under defined exposure conditions.
